Join us for a unique opportunity to see firsthand the practice of sustainable forestry in action at Zena Forest Products—the only company in Oregon that integrates every aspect of the timber process, from sustainable forest management to crafting heirloom flooring in our mill.
Nestled in the stunning Eola Hills, the forest is protected by a conservation easement and spans 1,300 acres, making it the largest contiguous block of forest in the Willamette Valley. It is home to vital ecosystems, watersheds, and vulnerable plant and animal species and has been managed by the Deumling family for over 35 years.
Our primary mission to conserve this forest—along with supporting forests across Oregon—has grown into a passionate commitment to produce heirloom-quality and innovative hardwood flooring that honors each and every tree while supporting the future resiliency of Oregon’s forests.
On the tour, you’ll walk through the forest and witness how we balance natural growth with responsible harvesting to maintain the forest’s health and the realities of climate change. Afterward, enjoy a break for lunch before touring the mill, where you can see how we lovingly handcraft each tree into hardwood flooring designed to last between 100 and 200 years.
